Crossgates Golf Community in Millersville, PA
You don't have to be a golfer to live in Crossgates Community in Millersville - but it doesn't hurt! Built by William Murry & Sons, Crossgates is nestled among rolling hills surrounding the Crossgates Golf Club. Crossgates Golf club is open to the public. The clubhouse overlooks the eighteenth hole, manicured grounds, and a beautiful pond with a fountain. On warm days you can get a reasonably priced meal or refreshments at the restaurant and eat outside on the deck overlooking the pond. There is also a nicely stocked pro shop.
Crossgates has an abundance of scenic walking trails, as well as tennis courts. As you walk along the trails, you may see the varied flowers and landscaping of residents, an assortment of tree varieties, birds, and even the occasional reminder of the former farmland that Crossgates was built on.
Beautiful townhouses are in the original phases of Crossgates. In some of the newer phases, an assortment of duplexes and upscale detached homes are being built.
Crossgates is located just south of Millersville University in Millersville, PA. The university bookstore is open to the public, and cultural and community events are scheduled throughout the year by the university and Millersville Borough.

Hi, I live in Crossgates. They are starting to put in new townhouses that are for rent.
Hi Emily. This is apparently a function of the slow pace of sales recently. Rather than reduce prices, some new townhouses were made available for rent.
Looking to move to Lanc. county in the next year or two. I would like to buy a property on a golf course. Is the golf course at Cross Gates healthy? I know there have been a few golf courses in the Lanc. and York county that have closed and this has a very negitive effect on property values.
Jack, the golf course at Crossgates seems to be healthy both financially and in its physical upkeep. I get periodic updates from the management informing me of new features or programs they have.
I am also interested in renting a townhouse in crossgates. If anyone knows of a place in there for rent please let me know asap. Or if there is a website to find out more about renting those townhomes, please direct me. Thanks :)
