The ninetieth Ephrata PA Fair is now history. The weather threatened to rain on several days' worth of events, but in the final analysis, everything turned out all right.

The younger children were excited to ride on an old fashioned merry-go round!

Forget healthy eating! County and state fair season only comes once a year!

Neon from the rides lights up the night.

Friday night we were treated to a trip down memory lane. Flamin' Dick and the Hot Rods rocked the town with Rock & Roll hits from the '50s and '60s.

Brian,
Glad it went well....the fairs make a lot of people very happy.
hi Brian,
Looks like it was lots of fun...I'm glad the weather held off and people were able to get out and enjoy themselves.
Lovely photos! I especially like the one of the little guy on the merry-go-round in his bare feet....his expression is priceless.

Brian - It looks as if everyone had a great time. As usual your photos tell the story.
I love the name of that town. I remember when we visited out that way....many years ago...that name really grabbed my attention. Do you know the origin of the name? Is it Biblical?
Jo - I agree - the little guy looks like he is really enjoying the ride!
Jennifer, thank you for the compliment!
Joan, according to my research, Ephrata is Hebrew for "fruitful" and an older name for Bethlehem.
Dan, thanks for stopping by.
