Ninety-four degrees and high humidity didn't stop Lancastrians from enjoying a a free evening of country music Friday evening!

Jasmine Morgan, a local girl now recording in Nashville, gave us two sets of country music, featuring the songs of Patsy Cline. The concert series is sponsored by High Industries at the Greenfield Corporate Center.

Jasmine was backed up by the Green River Band, featuring some great pedal steel guitar and keyboards.

Once again, there were classic cars on display.

A mint 1966 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 (Four-on-the-floor shifter, 4-barrel carburetor + dual exhausts!)

My personal favorite of the evening, a 1957 T-Bird hardtop convertible in the rare bronze color.

Brian,
The Thunderbird is my favourite too...beautiful lines and colour.
Wonderful pictures and I'm glad you were out enjoying the show in spite of the high temp and humidity.
Jo
Brian,
Sounds like a great event...and the cars weren't bad, either!!! Nice pics! Thanks, Fran
Jo, I could just picture myself in that T-Bird, top down, left arm leaning on the door, cruising down the boulevard...
Fran, it was a nice evening's entertainment. When they sang "God Bless the USA" and everyone stood up - it makes you proud to be an American.
Love the classic cars, sounds like it was a great event!
Hi Mike, thanks for stopping by!
Gorgeous photos Brian - and the music festival............country music........love it......we just had our rather infamous Merrit Mountain Music Festival.........and our car shows............(and P.S. thanks for commenting on my post..:-)

Hi Liz, Merrit Mountain Music Festival sounds like a great festival. Thanks for visiting my blog!
Trey, it was indeed a fun evening (except for the heat & humidity...)
Brian - Good free entertainment is always appreciated. Wow! thanks for sharing the pictures of those beauties.
Thanks, Jennifer. I wish I could take one some of those classic cars home with me!
Gorgeous classic cars.94 degrees is not stopping a good show! Cars and music, not a bad mix.
Lloyd, there are two kinds of music that go perfectly with the classic cars. Oldies and country. That's exactly what we had for these concerts.
Brian, I showed the pics of the cars to my sons and they gushed and oooohed and aaahed all over them. Thanks for sharing!
