Jennifer, the selection both indoors and outdoors changes as the seasons change, so I like to stop by to see what's currently in season.

Brian,

Now that I have been away from Lancaster County for 9 years, I admire and miss all the great produce and local flavor more than ever!  Love that silver queen corn.  funk's looks unchanged since I was last there.

I must also say that living in Florida (Brevard County) also has it's perks such as fresh citrus, Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach and much more.  As broker of The Housing Market, LLC I invite you to check out our website: www.housingofbrevard.com  My office is located in Cocoa, FL directly on U.S.1...just 10 minutes away from beautiful Atlantic beaches!  If you have a desire to discuss FL investment opportunities, let me know!

Jerry, Funk's Farm Market hasn't changed much in recent years.  However, there are plans to develop a state-of-the-art retirement community on the surrounding farmland, while preserving the market itself.

Joan, thanks for stopping by.  Actually, Funk isn't an uncommon name in the Pennsylvania Dutch areas of Lancaster County!

Kathy. I like to check out this kind of local market when I travel, too!

Barbara, it's worth visiting at this time of year - one of the nicest selection of flowers, and a very knowledgeable staff.  Great produce, too.

Cindy, as of July 31, Funks' Farm Market has now closed its doors pending construction of the new retirement community.  As a Farm Market customer myself, I will miss it.  There are conflicting reports at the moment as to whether the Farm Market will reopen in a different form after the retirement home is completed.  I'll be posting an update on Funks' Retirement Village and the future prospects of the Farm Market.
