Of the many parks in Lancaster County, PA, one of the prettiest but less well known is the East Lampeter Township Community Park.
Although the park is located between Route 340 and the outlets area of Route 30, it's off Hobson Road, a country road, and it has a quiet, private atmosphere.
There's a well-equipped playground for the kids.
There are beautiful picnic groves.
A baseball diamonds sits in the middle of the spacious park.
Several well-equipped picnic pavillions are available for reservations. All have electric outlets and charcoal grills. The largest pavillion even has a gas grill!
Scenic walking trails wind through the park.
Beautiful open green areas abound.

It looks like a very beautiful and well kept park. I just returned from a long walk with my Dad, brother Clayton and Clayton's children on our waterfront trail and your pictures remind me of my outing.
btw, I didn't recognize your picture when it rose to the top of my subscribed list the past few days and hence didn't click on your posts....I was wondering why you hadn't posted lately. Low and behold, you have, just changed your pic! Please excuse my lack of knowledge, but what kind of an election are you running in?

Jo, it's the political silly season in the U.S. We've been having a presidential campaign for the last two years. Since the Republicans and Democrats are fighting for votes, I thought I might as well get some, too... ;o)
