Maurice Sendak Exhibit

The Lancaster Museum of Art is currently presenting a wonderful exhibit:  "Where the Wild Things Are:  Maurice Sendak in His Own Words and Pictures".

The Sendak eshibit was brought to the museum through a cooperative effort of the museum and the Library System of Lancaster County, courtesy of the Maurice Sendak Archive, Rosenbach Museum and Library, Philadelphia, PA.  Where the Wild Things Are

Early manuscripts and rare early edition of Maurice Sedak's books are on display, as will as dramatic room sized posters!  There is an interactive area for kids to play in, as well as a TV muaical show from the 1970s of his work.

The exhibit is open thtough Sunday May 18, 2008 at 135 North Lime Street, Lancaster, PA.  Museum hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm; Sunday 12 pm - 4 pm.
